Singapore stopover

This is my first try with posting, so you will have to forgive me if I repeat what Gerry has already said.

Singapore has been hot enough to please anyone expecting a long cold Chch winter! 30 degrees when we arrived last night at 6pm, so straight into the pool with a relaxing Singapore sling alongside.

We were staying a bit out of the centre of Singapore, closer to the airport so just went for a wander around the local area. The kids had fun at a little corner sweet shop stocking up on wierd Asian lollies to take back to their friends, and checking out the cheap DVDs on a roadside stall (not as cheap as in China so we are holding off for later purchase). Had good chicken and duck noodles at another stall ($2 each!), then home to bed by 9pm.

Now back at Changi Airport on our way to Hong Kong.
